Czech. candlesticks for the French market.
« on: January 21, 2010, 08:45:23 PM »
Having recently said I don't see pieces marked with 'TCHECOSLOVAQUIE', lo and behold these candlesticks turn up  - which thanks to Ivo I now know were made for the export market to France, possibly thru the distributor Markhbeinn.    Very Deco looking  -  can anyone add anything to this, and might they be the 20's or 30's.   I have trolled thru Pamela's pictures, but don't see anything to match.  Height is about 14.5 cms.   Any thoughts appreciated, and thanks for looking.     Paul S.
