In the past year at least three people have pointed at this candlestick

and said "oh you've got one of those". And then they could not tell me what it was.

The colour is dark smoke, and does not match the colour used by Johansfors, Leerdam, WMF, Whitefriars, Maastricht or Süssmuth. Leaves Iittala and Holmegaard as main contenders.
Right?

Not sure whether it helps, but I had some HG Canada glasses in what looks like the same shade. That base is hollow, isn't it.
