Hi All

Another one of my ?? pieces.

Very heavy and blue ish...

Height 250mm Width 200mm.

Any ideas?

Empoli would be my first guess, although I've not seen this particular decoration before.

You might get better feedback if you start your queries in the main general identification forum if you don't definitely know where your glass is from as this section here is primarily for items already definitively identified as Scandinavian and usually only requiring factory-specific detail, thus only people interested in Scandinavian glass might check in here regularly and you may miss better expert opinions for, say, Italian glass.  :)

Very likely Opalina Fiorentina from Empoli. I believe I have that decor in a labelled piece, although it's well buried in the garage.

Keep in mind though that you can't necessarily trust everything you see on eBay. I think this time the seller is right, but often sellers just guess, and if enough people just guess then a false identification moves into folklaw. Unless you find a labelled example, but even labels can be moved or faked.
