Bagley, Sowerby, Jobling and Davidson all produced glass that can be mistaken for any other European country, and vice-versa. Always worth checking those sites of GMB members.

e.g.
Davidson: www.cloudglass.com
Bagley: www.glassencyclopedia.com

Associated glass gallery to this site: http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/

The list is endless (well, nearly)

Many thanks again Keith and thanks to your links I have identified quite a few of my pressed glass http://picasaweb.google.com/mannersglass/ArtDeco
Sowerby and it would not surprise me if the the pink one is the same.

Kind regards

Jay

Carl Stölzle glassworks production, later known as Heřmanova Huť, part of the Sklo Union group in Czechoslovakia.

There was a large range of items in this pattern in a whole range of colours, including pink, blue, green, both clear and part-frosted items.

This one is pattern 19249 which came in 4 heights: 5", 8", 10" and 12". Yours is the 10" one (almost 250mm).

Info from the database CD which accompanies the book Marcus Newhall: Sklo Union Art Before Industry: 20th Century Czech Pressed Glass.
