Unknown Three Ladies: Rest Of A Label
« on: February 05, 2010, 07:55:21 PM »
Dear Community - I missed you!  :D

We are back from our trip to Argentina and Chile. Ohio-Ken was right, I saw a lot of Brockwitz Carnival in Buenos Aires  :D

An important find for me was this one in pink carrying a rest of a label - see below:
http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/tafelaufsaetze/05542.html

Unfortunately I could not carry it with me, as we had just started our journey, but was allowed to take some pictures.

Immediately I thought it could have been C. Stölzle - what are your opinions? Any bells ringing, please?

TIA
Pamela

Whilst I have absolutely no idea about the origin Pamela, I have to say I like this. The face of the lady (shown in close up on your blue one) looks 'oriental' to me.

Hil :)

Welcome back Pamela, we missed you! I agree with Hil's thought re the blue faced one, but the pink is less so.  I have a niggle that I'd seen these somewhere else too but I can't remember where. :(
