duck for id please
« on: February 06, 2010, 07:42:57 PM »
Yes, I do know that it doesn't really look like wfrs., but the flat circular base and the beak suggested a similarity, so I bought it on the vague off chance.   I have tried the wfrs. site and it isn't really the bees knees for wfrs., and so  I'm thinking 'Murano type'.     It's about 22.75 cms. tall, although not sure what you might call the colour.     Having said all of that, most of the Murano style ducks that I either have or have seen, possess a sort of arrow head shapped beak, with either stylized feet or a simple flat base to the body  -  not the circular plinth base thingy like wot my wfrs. ducks have.     Grateful for the opinion of a 'duckspert' please, and my thanks as always for looking.       cheers      Paul S.
