Coctail pitcher, Kosta
« on: February 15, 2010, 10:57:47 PM »
Can anyone identify this for me?  I thought it was unsigned, but I recently found scratched very lightly on the bottom (as if with a stylus rather than an electric engraver) Kosta LH 1567.  Really too lightly marked to photograph but clearly there under a strong light.

It is 22mm tall (8 and 3/4 inches) with some scratches on the bottom, but no other marks.  It is clear glass, with a tiny bubble in the direct center of the base.  It still has the glass stirring rod.

Anybody seen it before?  Any idea of its age?

Thanks

rob

If it says LH 1567 then a design by Vicke Lindstrand, late 50s or early 60s.
