Marcus says it is Peceny piece. In Glasrevues from 50ties were designer's names published very rarely. Probably Marcus has found attribution in some later resources. I would trust him (conditionaly)  :D

Eh, I meant Rosice as well in my posts instead of Libochovice. That will teach me to work from memory instead of waiting till I get home and check...

Have a look at my collection online and see if you can set me straight on my identifications : http://picasaweb.google.nl/102861706167408125672

Hi, interesting in deed....

all these mentioned have 5 horizontal rows of lenses, but what is mine then:

it is otherwise very similar but has only 4 rows of them. 25 cm high and with a very Sklo union base with well and matt ring.
Also it may seem a bit less widening from base to top in general shape, I think.

I'll add pic later if needed.

So, here you are, the pics added. (see my previous message)
I would love to know what this has to do with the 959 Rosice vase of this topic.  ::)

No, your piece is from Bohemia Podebrady, leaded pressed crystal

Oh, I thought it felt leaded it is so clear and heavy ! And I was hoping for a reply from you, 'cause I knew you would know, Jindrich!  :)  I certainly do not mind it not being Rosice or other from Sklo union what I love is knowing the true origin! And in a way I am amused to see how someone may have "borrowed" someone elses design idea? So very similar the designs are in these!

 Thank you so much!!!
 :rah:

Ps. btw, in the meantime I found there is one of these on sale in ebay.de, thus wrongly attributed.

PPs. I was learning about Podebrady and got a thought of the time scale - I suppose this vase was produced somewhere in the 60-70's ? At least before the works got merged to Crystalex in 1975?

Sorry. Anyway, it's a vase like the one px posted with its original box and it's labeled "Rastal". So it doesn't seem to be Podebrady after all.

Best Regards
Emil
