No help to you, Greg, but I should say to flyingfree that the flame logo on the blob of glass put on the pontil scar of IoWSG was only used from late '73 until '78.

Hi John,
Think the colors are slightly different to Mdina Earthtones, more of a golden metallic hue to it. The spiral pattern has a slightly raised feel to it around the edge as if its been applied separately, almost like trailing.  Definitely no its not Gozo glass (if that helps!), i did email Mdina glass, although as yet I havent heard back. Hopefully time will tell!

Thanks, Greg

Hi GBarfoot.  I certainly do like that.  When I first looked at it, it reminded me of an item I posted some time ago. I have attached pics. but bare in mine that mine is only a perfume bottle.   It was mainly to do with the shape, pontil and colour pattern design. It may have nothing to do with your studio Glass but hopefully will assist you in your search.

A couple more to maybe investigate?

The link is to a Siddy Langley vase. Similar :-\  ?  I thought her work would be signed though but just a possibility perhaps?

The other one I found was a vase by Louis Leloup which sold on Ebay a couple of days ago.  Also signed but had vague similarities in decor. item no 260572834998
