M first thought on seeing all those coggy canes was Fratelli Toso. Seguso also made coggy canes that were a little less crisp than FT. The shape of this piece also looks like some Seguso I have. I'm not positive but I think this may be a Seguso.

Is the coloured-chip ground an indication of any particular maker(s), or is it, like many of the Murano canes, a generic design theme across several makers?

Although this Murano is very similar to your one listed in another thread, I think the canes here are crisper, just nicer overall, and the colors more pleasing. Like KevH, I wonder about the ground being attributable to a particular maker(s).

The ground on this one is similar to that I have seen on some of the AVeM pws. The ground of these pws look similar to the multicolored ones Fratelli Toso makes, but the color pieces are larger. I don't know who made the pw, but AVeM is a possibility. AVeM used a variety of canes, so it is difficult to identify their pieces by looking at the canes alone.
