Chance Blue Intaglio
« on: February 26, 2010, 05:21:21 PM »
Just wanted to share this as I think it's quite unusual. I've occaisionally seen these intaglio pieces in ruby, and I read on David Encill's site that they were made in blue, but I've never before seen one in the flesh.

It's a round bowl, measuring approx. 7 5/8 inches in diameter.

I like the blue ones Steven. They aren't as common as the ruby ones _ I have this bowl in ruby - but I've never seen the blue anywhere other than in photos / David's book.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

A very nice find - as Anne points out, these are quite scarce - there is also quite a range of them to discover.
