my sincere thanks to both of you.      I had looked thru Pamela's material - also my Bagley book and CD that arrived the other day  -  so had rather come to the conclusion that Sowerby was a very good chance.    I will now send off for the three CD's of the Sowerby catalogue.   This bowl is attractive with that more appealing yellowy/green colour  -  but it still does have a biggish footprint, so may have to go back from whence it came.  Of course I photograph everything (without exception) so will always have a pic. for record purposes.
