Whitefriars Paperweight?
«
on:

I have had very large doorstops in similar design which turned out to be Whitefriars but cannot find a record of normal paperweight size in this design in their catalogues. (Diameter 3"). It really is stunning "in the flesh" and the pictures do not do it justice. Can anyone help with ID please?
Thanks
John

Agreed - Whitefriars. This design appeared before the Festival of Britain I think, and turns up in several colours - but the Red/White/Blue fits with Festival of Britain. They appear fairly regularly, but are not common.
