Monart miniature or just a tot glass?

Could somebody knowledgable please put me out of my misery?

I'm hoping, obviously, this little vasey thing might be a miniature, but am fully aware that I might just be missing another 5 glasses and a decanter.

It stands exactly 2 and 7/8 inches tall, so makes it in just under the 3" limit.
The aventurine, while still a copper colour, is a very pale goldy copper colour.

I also found a pair of earrings, have not a clue whether or not Monart made them in this style. The settings are old, and the glass bit has a silver foil background, but itself, contains what seems to be the right shade of green splodgy bits and a very coppery coloured copper aventurine.

Again, could anybody knowledgable in this area help me? I'm contemplating having cufflinks made out of the earrings as a present for my brother if they're right - maybe even if they're wrong - they'd still look pretty good.

The vase is Monart shape WK and could be classed as a miniature (there is a thread re Monart miniatures on British & Irish Glass), there is only one size in the Monart catalogue and is 16cm tall. A real nice find you have there, as they are fairly rare items. Pretty sure Monart did not make earrings in their normal production.

I had worked out WK or SG for shape, although the sizes weren't right, but did harbour suspicions about it simply being a tot glass.

I didn't manage to find the bit about miniatures, though I knew about being under 3", and actually being a proper miniature of a big thing, not a small thing on it's own.

I really wan't sure about the earrings at all, I found them in the same wee town but in a different charity shop to the vase.

I think they still might make a nice pair of cufflinks for a Monart collector.
Or does anybody who is a collector disagree?

Agreed, a miniature.

The earrings are Bohemian. Despite all of the sets touted through dealers and auction house as being Ysart friggers. Paul was clear the Ysart did not make such things. Take them out of a Scottish context and all the jewellery dealers will say Bohemia, on a good day they can show you the same still attached to the original sales cards.

I have quite a collection of e-mails on similar and all from collectors in Scotland.

Now I can be sure the earrings are not Monart, I suppose I'll feel less dubious about having them remodelled into cufflinks. (And I don't think I had much guilt about the idea anyway.)

My brother would still like them.

The main question was;
Do I give the miniature to him for his birthday, or do I flog it and get us both pressies?
As he's actually got one in this shape and colourway, the answer is a resounding... flog it.
Might help pay for me to get to the conference!
