Topic: Part of my Glass Measure Collection and some help needed

The first two pictures are of a "Richardson Patented" 1/2 gill.  The lead insert at the measure line indicated that the measure is Victorian (VR) and I believe authorized for Glasgow.

This second is a picture of a 1/4 gill measure.

Some have been authorized more than once (ie Victorian and Georgan) as this 1/2 gill measure indicates

What I'm really looking for is a complete set: that is a 1/4 gill, 1/2 gill, 1 gill, 2 gill and a 1 pint measure all looking the same.  I'm here in Canada and as you would guess most of these pieces would be located in the UK.  I haven't been able to find anything on the internet that can help me.  Any suggestions?

What I'm really looking for are antique shops in the UK that specialize in glass that have web sites.

I could possibly use them to help me find more.

Currently my purchases in the last year (when I retired) have been from southern England and Scotland. 

Can anyone help with suggestions?

Not really, you are more likely to find these in junk shops and car boots. Portobello market might be a good hunting ground too.

Frank is right. Pieces like this are unlikely to make it to "antique" shops. Dusty corners and low-end sellers, and not particularly common there either. Ebay might be a better online bet.
