Expensive Old English

I had been watching this unusual Old English weight, but did not expect it to sell for so much.  At least two bidders were prepared to pay a 'Bacchus price' for it - yet I see no evidence to suggest it is by Bacchus.  My best guess is that it is a Richardson piece, but I would love to know the density of it.

I was wondering about this weight too, Alan.  Thanks for posting it.
