Who is/was VAC?
« on: April 11, 2010, 11:45:15 PM »
Hi there is a nice pink shell bowl with a VAC murano label on it. I have not heard of them, any ideas who they are or were?
Clean and Crisp a Murano twist.
Archimede tops my list.

Ardy:

Can you make out the bottom line on the label? It looks like another name but I can't make it out. Could VAC be an Australian import company? If I were being creative--which I'm not-- I could suggest something like Vetreria Artistico Campanella.

Hi David, no you can't make the name out on the bottom looks like Manosti and Pint???. It went for a reasonable amount so someone must have known something about it.

I watched it as it looked a bit like a Seguso piece I have. Seemed well made from the photo's and weighed a fair amount.
