Yes, it certainly looks familiar. This company is known to me. I purchased 2 pieces of Krosno back at least 10 years ago, a vase and a perfume bottle in the same design, and both still carry the Krosno label. My wife always wanted another of the perfumes to complete her display!!.
Looking through the site I also noticed a vase that I have often seen discribed as being definately Scandinavian. :?   :shock:
It is all very confusing, not only to the layman like myself, but also for many so called experts.

Just found where I think the Webb Corbett link came from, the Is it Whitefriars board 25/7/2005 the question was asked and the only reply came from a lady who had seen a very similar lamp conversion in her local Antique shop which was discribed as being Webb Corbett. My Home's mystery deepens - Watson :!: .

If I believed all the labels down one of my local antique shops I'd think it a wonderful place of endless Whitefriars... and not just dusty & generic Polish/Murano/Chinese glass.  :lol:

They also have one of these vases/lamp bases in the shop window, but oddly haven't tried to give it a WF attribution. £24 they want for it too!  :shock:
