Cased Red-To-Yellow Ashtray
« on: April 24, 2010, 10:20:44 PM »
Forgive my ignorance - this style of glass really isn't my field.

Small-ish heavy-walled ashtray with red fading to yellow, cased in a subtly blue-ish clear glass. Common-or-garden touristware, or something a little more interesting?

Many thanks.

Nic: I've got a few similar pieces as I like their heft, and this one is nicer than most. Nicely done, and the banding effect is unusual. No idea of maker, though.
