kvetna bell
« on: April 24, 2010, 06:27:10 PM »
Bells are really not my thing but I couldn't pass this one without buying it at this mornings car-boot - seems very well put together and ornate (too much really for my liking)

Anybody know the age? I presume 1960's

I can't seem to find anything online or here about Kvetna - are there any good links I can follow?

i presume 1990s. my parents visited the works in Slovakia on a bus tour and brought back a set of glasses of the same pattern then.

Ivo, in your Glass fact file, you give Kvetna Hutte, in Moravia, Czech Republic... is this the same place? (tableware, gilded and engraved glass)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Hi friends, naturaly Květná is in Moravia, eastern part of Czech republic.
Your bell, however is not from sixties but from recent Kvetná Glasswork production.
