hi any ideas who made this vase please,looks czech to me,the height is 8" and the width is  5.5".

Yes, Czech and Sklo Union production. I remember this design as I gave one to my Gran, will have a hunt around later to try and find out more details.

Yes, Rosice, pattern 772 (height 20cm), shown in the Rosice GlassExport catalogue for 1987 (page 13) on the Database CD with Marcus Newhall's book, Sklo Union Art Before Industry: 20th Century Czech Pressed Glass.  :thup:
