It wasn't the Czech bowls I was thinking of.  I've had those in the past.

Yes I agree it is much more like a cactus. Polished base with quite a bit of wear

HI,

I was thinking I knew this piece, that it was Czech, but couldn't place it. Then low and behold on the 9th click of the 20th Century preview gallery for the National Glass Fair this weekend I find:

http://www.nationalglassfair.co.uk/preview-gallery-20thC.html

Enjoy. Oh, and take the opportunity to have a look at the other galleries. Click on the rolling thumbnails to get the details.

Cheers, Nigel

Oh, for those that don't want to 'travel' ...... Prachen Glassworks, Design by Frankisek Koudelka, 33cm tall  :) ;) :)

Just wondering, should that be Frantisek rather than Frankisek?

Thank you very much Nigel, I was just beginning to think it may not be ID http://markhillpublishing.co.uk/?page_id=842, I found another at the Sklo Exhibition.

Thanks again
