Does the base of this vase qualify as Czech?  I'm trying to brush up on mid-century pieces, as I am becoming quite fond of them.  They are hard to find in my area and I'd like to start a collection.  I've been hitting the books and I feel this vase looks similar, but maybe it's an earlier piece and not even bohemian.

Hi,
I believe this vase is Rosice, pattern number 933 which came in three sizes: 20, 25 and 30cm.  Hopefully someone will be able to confirm.

Definitely not Bohemian. Bohemia ceased to exist in 1918

Confirmed.

Base, often described as Bird-Bath , being Sklo Union only is a myth from the days before much was known but it is found on Sklo Union glass as well as glass from other countries.

Nah, it wasn't a long time coming... you simply posted your query a year-and-a-bit too early. ;)
