Could it be Salviati & co?  I see in my Italian Glass that Luciano Gaspari designed heavy sommerso for them, then went onto Flygsfors. Anyone else think the label reads Salviati?

Try brushing some white powder, talc or flour over the label. It might highlight the indentation/raised areas on the label to make it more easy to read. You could easily wipe (dry cloth) or blow the rest off after. It might help.

The & looks like the one used by Salviati & C. I think you're right, Sandymae. I can also see the Salviati. It looks like the label on the bottom of this c. 1960 dog.
