Greetings all am a new member here.  My primary collecting is Vaseline glass.   I have posted on ebay a large what I believe to be MURANO possibly Cenedese (family) Sailfish that is 20 inches ( 8cm) tall.   Please take a look at my ebay auction detailed description with item history. 12 pictures and one minute VIDEO on ebay page.   John

Item number:   200469615539

If anyone can verify if this is Murano and mfg. if Cenedese or ?  I would be very thankful.

Mod: Images saved to board, large tinypic images removed.

Hi Glass7ltd, and welcome to the Board.

Because your post is about an ended eBay auction, with no sign as yet of relisting, this posts falls into the catefory of an ID confirmation request rather than a Market Place "for sale" item. Normally initial ID requests would go into the general Glass forum, but since the item does appear to be an "obvious" Murano-style piece, I have (as a moderator) moved it directly to the Murano forum.

I hope someone here can help.

I've already written on the Fossilfly group, but I'll include the information here. Ingela wrote me last night to let me know that the fish is FM Konstglas Ronneby. She sent me some photos that were not her own, so she couldn't post them. It's a definite ID. Ingela may add something herself soon.

Thanks for the ID confirmation, Anita.

This piece has moved from Market Place to Murano and now to Scandinavian, all in just a few hours. Just goes to show that I know almost nothing about Murano / Scandi "creatures". ;D

As the images are on Tinypic, which vanish after a while, may we copy them onto the board for future reference please?
