Murano? (2)
« on: March 10, 2015, 11:11:26 PM »
Here's another piece I think is not really Murano, even though it has a label.

I'm used to these from American Studios, dichroic fumed from Eikholt and others, colored, (like this) from a different studio, (name escapes me).

I've also seen a good number in these colors from China.

On the other hand I've seen a few identified as Murano on EBAY, though of course an EBAY Murano attribution is worth as much as the New York street seller selling Rolex watches for $200.00.

Again, maybe a "finished in Murano" item and therefore with a "valid" Murano label.

It sounds like you're in agreement, that it is most likely a "made in China" piece, though it may have been"finished" in Murano.

Is that a reasonable interpretation?
