Reijmyre Decanter?
« on: May 10, 2010, 03:42:31 PM »
Is this commercial or collectable? It is 6" high with metal/cork stopper. Label reads "Reijmyre 1810 Kristall Sweden" wondering if it's a tourist souvenir or you would maybe bring back with liquor in or it's a collectable item? or both

Thanks, Chris

half-post technique decanter with ringed penny cork, identified as Reijmyre and with a cheeky Viking theme etched decoration, produced I assume late seventies/ eighties for the local market - it's your call to say collectible or usable. It seems to be made for infusing herbs or lemon peel in wodka, if that's your tipple.
