Hi there.....Just got this today from an Estate Sale.

It is Blue glass in the middle with 3 clear ribbed edges.  It is about 11.5 inches tall, and about 4.5 inches wide.  The vase is in a triangular shape.  The base is polished, concaved, has a pontil mark PLUS has lots of wear on the bottom.  To me (??) it seems well made - but I ain't gonna Guess no more....

Any ideas of who made this, year, and any other info?  Thanks as always  :)

( I hope it is not Chinese or else I will :thud: )

Jordan Import Co. had some vases very similar in form to this one. It might be one of their Murano vases.

Gee, TxSilver - that sounds promising I hope!!

It was priced @ $7.50, I got for $5.00.  So I hope this one works out for me.  Do you think this should be moved to the Murano Board?

Again Thanks TxSilver  :kissy:

Hi there:

Was this sort of what TxSilver meant?  Not sure if it is the same -- but same wave-length idea I guess.

*Bump*

I was wondering IF TxSilver might feel this is a match here also on this site (The Middle Vase):
http://gallery.blancoglass.com/v/J+I_Co_Glass/trademe2_201.jpg.html  These vases are made by Jordon Import Co. (J.I. Co).

Jordan Import Co. had some vases very similar in form to this one. It might be one of their Murano vases.

....So Might this be moved then to the Murano Board (??)   To see.  Thanks as always.

The vase that I was thinking is like the twisted vase on the left, but doesn't have the twist. JI Co. makes the 3-point design in both twisted and untwisted. I have a couple of pictures that I borrowed from eBay, so I can't post them. The single color of yours is different, but the form is very similar. I cannot say for sure because the form would be fairly easy one for other companies to use. We need a JI Co expert. Maybe if we concentrate, we can bring shandiane in.  :)

Hi - I just found this and thought I would add. I know that this attribution may be wrong -- but could be interesting note too (I guess).

Thanks Sandymae - For the update, and LOVE your pic of the 3, and all with labels!!

So can we confirm this then?  That was a good little surprise purchase from that Estate Garage Sale for $ 5 Bucks
