Crystal double end glass pipe vase

This piece might not be right for this forum, but has anyone ever seen this type of vase before?  I think I can remember seeing something like this in the 90's.  It is of superior quality, but I'm unsure of who designed it.  Riedel?  I don't know.  Any suggestions would be appreciated, as it might spark some ideas.  It measures 5.5" inches tall and 17" inches long.  Thank you in advance!
