Hi all
I picked this up a few weeks back and am only now getting round to sorting it out.
I found this info on your website so thought i would post on GMB to share info.
The weight i have is marked on the base  with some initials either JB or VB ?? any ideas on whether this is a designer or just the engraver?
 Anyway im happy for you to use photos if they are of any help to you (in links below), they are not great but its quite a difficult one to photograph

No idea, it will take some time to ID all the engravers at Caithness.
