Topic: Kosta Platter...With Label...

Managed to get this lovely Kosta platter  . It is 33cm in diameter with the Handmade Kosta Sweden label. Has a lovely leaves design on the bottom. Can anyone put an age to this? Have done some searches but have not come up with anything concrete except for this one on ebay...

Says it was designed by Goran Warff. Apparently that one had the Kosta Boda label after the merger so I would 'assume' mine is the 60's piece by Kosta? Any help would be appreciated...

It's by the Warfs, Goran and Ann. The series was "Party," a very popular series designed over a few years from the early 70's on. I believe this is the plate designed in 1972.

Ha ha David. Glass is a terrible addiction and I don't have a nice platter . I really love the design on this, it is quite simple but very appealing as well. I have been using it a lot lately and it is always good to get some use out of the collection besides it 'looking pretty'.

Many thanks for your ID on this David and a year as well!  :hiclp: I really should learn more about Scandinavian Glass, but I seem to be a little one sided with my collection!
