I always thought that Batwings were the little vases that actually look like Bat wings. Like this one on Ebay - 360139706756

I guess the seller just plucked the name from the ether. Also on a related note it always makes me laugh when they describe Sklo Union products as "rare" when a lot of them were produced in their millions.

But this vase is not SKLO UNION! 

In fact some so called "Sklo Union" pieces are very rare namely some colours.

For example Vizner's red vase Rudolfova huť - 13182/210 was manufactured in this colour only one day - number of pieces is in hunderds. Note also that in clear was inserted horisontal ribs in vertical waves, becouse of technolgical problems with smooth surface of waves.

I didn't say it was Sklo union, just making conversation. And the items I was referring to were for example Lens vases which are often described as rare and as you know these were produced in their millions.

Thanks for the information about the Vizner vases though very interesting as always, I wish I had your depth of knowledge.

I think this was it.

Ivo's green vase was designed by Eryka Trzewik-Drost in 1969 for HSG Ząbkowice.  It's described as a 'cylindrical ear vase' with two flat vertical ears at the lower part, with double piercings. Source: Ceramika i Szkło Polskie XX Wieku, Wrocław 2004.

Unfortunately, I don't know about the maker of the blue vase. :hi:
