mystery item
« on: May 28, 2010, 07:12:58 AM »
Just picked this one up.  When I first saw the pictures, I thought "RBS logo".  Now that I have it the feel of it and the polished base suggest Caithness, and the canes have an "edinburgh weight" look to them. Also in close up the blue is the right shade for RBS.

We know that Caithness did commissions for corporate promotional weights.

Anyone (and i'm pointing the finger at you, Allan)   have any memories of this one?
Martin

I was going to bid on this but forgot as I was away when it ended - Edinburgh/Caithness was my first instinct also.
