Hi, I am trying to identify this small oval dish, it measures 19.5cm x 14.5cm and is quite a heavy dish.  It is clear with an amethyst centre and a polished base showing some signs of wear.   Any help would be gratefully received!  Thanks.  Kerry.

Hi, thanks for that.  I have not heard the name before but will look into it now.  Best wishes,  Kerry. :)

I know this is a really old post now but came across your image when I was looking for info on a similar bowl I bought recently (for £4 at a car boot). I thought it may be Max Verboeket (Maastricht) but someone on here suggested Bayel (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,41569.0.html). It was just a cheeky request to see if you ever found out any more about it? I've looked and looked but can't find much about Bayel at all. Thanks for any help you can give. Best wishes, Helen

still going strong (since 1678) though it is now called Cristalleries royales de Champagne. A simple google will bring up a ton of references.
