Looks like Inwald (A.G.) I'll double check and get back to you.

Checked and now editing my response to give you the pattern / cat. number, which was 8201. Reference "Collecting Glass Vol 2" by William Heacock. 1985, in which one of Inwald's catalogues (believed to be circa 1920s) was first shared with glass collectors.

Glen, what's the significance of the A.G.? (It's probably obvious, but you have to spell these things out for me, preferably slowly and sometimes four or five times :) )

Cathy, I was publicly rebuked recently on the GMB for (correctly) attributing a piece to Josef Inwald, so I made the point of attributing to Inwald A.G. in the hope that will be acceptable here.

A.G. (Aktiengesellschaft) is loosely understood as a share trading company. I also have a copy of an Inwald catalogue cover that states Inwald A.S. which is quite interesting.

Some years ago I wrote about the use of the term A.G. on my old website in the context of Rindskop's Söhne and Brüder Rindskopf.

Oh yes, I remember. Sorry. :pb:

Thanks for the interesting little snippet on Rindskopf history as well.

A typo perhaps? AS is usually for Norwegian and Finnish companies.

I don't think it was a typo. The A.S. is written in large letters on the actual front cover of the catalogue. It's interesting!
