Topic: Early Mdina vase ?

It has very subtle colours - pale green with minimal green and yellow flecks - pale amethyst banding - rim is pale amethyst - has a couple of burst bubbles.

6" high - anything special?

Nice piece - well balanced, small flared rim is indicative of early production, delicate colouring is more unusual, well done! Known as a pulled ears vase.

I like it more than she does though. She prefers deeper amethyst.
I always called these vases "Worfs" before I found out the proper name - but I'm a trekkie.

Thanks for all the replies much appreciated, though it has  2 burst bubbles on the surface, think these are from the making as the holes are quite smooth with a ridge along the side, although I do realise this can happen anytime, still a nice piece though.

If the bursts are annealed and of manufacturing origin, they're not a problem.
