Big vase, possible indentification Ioan Nemtoi
« on: June 12, 2010, 04:21:28 PM »
Hi, I'm offering this huge vessel.
I'm not sure who made it, but after a check with some art glass experts, somebody suggested Ioan Nemtoi as the glassmaker.
I can't know it for sure, but at least the style looks very very similar.
The piece is approx. 60 cm tall, it is in very good conditions and it is unsigned.
Very sculptural due to size and proportions

Let me have your offers!
(Shipping costs to be verified toghther in a "fair way")

Not questioning your eyesight, but check very carefully just above the foot, all the way around, for a signature. Nemtoi sigs can be very difficult to spot  ;)
Looks like a Nemtoi to me and a very nice one too. :)

Thank you. I'll look this evening.
It is a kind of glass that I don't know very well and therefore every suggestion and advice is welcome!
