I'm sure this is quite a common one but I can't seem to be able to find it. Can anyone help?

Hi, you'll need to make the picture a bit bigger. As Christine says, make the longest side about 700 pixels or so, and that should give enough detail for us to see, and be small enough to load as well.

The vase stands 250mm tall.

I wish I could help you, but I just want to say I love it and I hope someone else can identify it. I'm tempted to think this sort of modernist pattern could be German (or Czech - but so many people here are knowledgeable about Czech glass that if nobody reacts, it probably isn't?), but at this point it's nothing more than speculation, sorry. But if would probably buy one if I saw it at a reasonable price...

Hi Max - It's ribbed horizontally on the outside and vertically on the inside.

It reminds me of this one (in green, which is the same fabulous technique but very different design)

For me, that grey/amethystish colour says Polish although I'm not 100% about that.

Ah, if the quality is good, and you bought it for yourself, that shouldn't matter too much... a goodlooking piece is a goodlooking piece, even if it's produced, say, yesterday in China. If you want to sell it again, it's a different story of course...
