Hi all
Now normally i tend to ignore these salt cellars walk by without paying any attention at all, but something caught my eye with these maybe the quality. So i picked one of them up (there is a pair) and noticed there inside the bowl was a mark, but i was really struggling to make it out, so thought it was a reg mark, just about to put it back and noticed another tiny moulded mark in the other bowl i could make out the first 3 letters and knew the rest BAC. If you look real close on the first picture you can just see the mark now ive cleaned them up a bit, its on the outer edge of the bowl.
They are Baccarat depose i assume they are salt cellars. The word Depose would date them to between 1870 & 1914 from what ive found so far, is there anyway anybody would be able to narrow this 44 years down a bit? Also any other information as I am struggling finding any the same as these
Apart from a small chip to the inside rim of one of the bowls they are in great condition. 12.5cm in length, 5.5cms wide
many thanks
michelle

Pamela's Glas-Musterbuch has a couple of Baccarat catalogues, Michelle... have a look at this page:
http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Baccarat-1916-br-Services-de-T.55+B6YmFja1BJRD01NSZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9MjA4MiZkZXRhaWw9.0.html - 2nd row down S615 - looks like a match?  Catalogue is dated 1916.

Drop her a line and ask, Michelle, in case Pamela doesn't spot this topic. Smiley

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than speak out and remove all doubt. (unknown)
