I bought this piece from a boot fair early in my glass collecting and it is one of my favourite pieces. It has a lot of wear on the bottom but the style looks to me like 50s or 60s glass but the green twists glow brightly under a UV light which confused me completely. I have included links to Photobucket so you can see it more clearly. If someone could clear up this little mystery for me I would be eternally grateful

Lovely 1950's Skrdlovice bowl, possible ashtray if there is a slight dip at each end, fairly sure it is a Jaroslav Beranek design,

Fantastic news, thanks guys.
I didn't know that uranium oxide was still in use in the 1950s but I am learning new things every day. It is quite large for an ashtray but yes it does have a dip at either end but it would certainly hold a lot of ash as it is four inches deep and seven inches wide.
Anyway great to have an i.d now I love it even more!
