Smokey vase ? ID = Caithness

Can anyone confirm for me if this is a Dartington piece, the person I bought it from said he thinks it is. There are no marks anywhere.

It's quite small at just 95mm tall.

No, not of the Frank Thrower era anyway. The colour looks more Caithness; brownish rather than greyish. But I'm not sure about the rim for Caithness; how is it finished?

It's exactly the same colour as a Caithness decanter I have!
