I would take the Webb attribution with a pinch of salt. In the US (no offence meant), if they can't ID it, it's Bristol glass (whatever that is!), Webb or Stevens and Williams. Likely that's Harrach too.

I think your coralene is heat fixed, as it's all there. I think what they do is use a sticky enamel (i.e., glass powder in a suitable liquid) to paint on the design, sprinkle with the glass beads and then heat it just enough to fix it. After all, raised enamel stays raised after heat fixing.

Glue is the cheap option, paint, sprinkle, dry and done. Oops, the glue degraded and it fell off!

Those pictures are much better than the previous ones. Comparable to the Goldberg items.

Goldberg was a decorator that used blanks from Harrach, among other companies. The company did subcontract work (so possibly this pot is Goldberg for Harrach), but sold most of its output under its own name.

Thanks so much for all this information Christine.  I really appreciate it.  I'm a bit confused about the 'Goldberg for Harrach' though.  Alfredo id'd this as Kralik from the Butler Brothers Catalogue 1929/1930.  So could it be that Goldberg decorated these for Kralik?  Did Harrach do tango glass?

No, it's me confused by your mention of Harrach. Harrach seems to have had a huge range, so "tango-style" is not impossible. I don't know whether Kralik used Goldberg.

Cross-referencing - I have a plain one which looks to be the same shape without the coralene but with yellow splodges:  http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,41772.0.html
