Streaky Blue, Pink and purple 4" high lots of bubbles within the glass, quite a bit of base wear, rough pontil scar similar to Isle of Wight glass.
Thanks Chris

I have a piece like this that has an "Isle of Wight" label on it.

Thanks Paul, as it got the 'flame' logo in the pontil scar?
Cannot make my mind up if this as or not?

My vase is in storage, and not readily accessible.  There is nothink visible in the pontil, it is just marked with a gold label with black writing.  Mine is more pinkish than blue, but very similar otherwise.

That's a flame logo.

All correct - Isle of Wight globe vase from the Pink and Blue Swirls range, flame pontil mark, '74-'76.  One of my favourite ranges, I don't usually do pink stuff but I love this lot. I have a couple of little globes like this and a huge one I've just bought - nearly 8" high with a circumference of 26", an inch bigger than my waist!  I'll get around to posting some pics soonish.

Paul - I'd be very interested in seeing your vase  - there are a few very early pieces that were pink.

It just made me laugh that my vase was bigger than me.

Paul, I'm sure the label on yours would be black and triangular, with gold writing on it, not gold with black writing - which would be a square label and much later.

Emmi - it's scary cuddling Suzy - you get worried she'll break - but she's tougher than she looks!

Thanks everyone for your comments, thought it was just wanted to be sure.
Would it be a Michael Harris design then?
Chris
