Topic: Mats Jonasson bird --Info needed please...I am at a loss!!!

I believe this is a mats jonasson bird..but I cannot find an ID anywhere! Anyone know what kind of bird this is and age of piece?
 engraved number may be 2(?)575

Looks like it is signed Mats Jonasson, no idea about date but could well be quite recent.

With that tail and looking at the head it's probably a swallow.

I purchased this in 2002 via auction...not sure it was "new" then....
It is not listed in any web stores in any of the bird categories-so not thinking it is recent...I thought swallow also, though it also looks  like it could be some kind of a seashore bird with that beak and illusion of capped head ..reminding me of some kind of ocean skimmer? I have seen....but then..I am totally confused......!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe they got back to me already !!!
Here is pertinant part of the email..

"The piece you have is  a tern and has article number 33575. The item was introduced in 1991 and was taken out of production in 2001."
