The signature loooks legitimate, so the vase was apparently made by Vincenzo Nason & Co. of Murano. It reminds me a bit of some of Carlo Moretti's cased vases that were made in the 1960s. I wouldn't be surprised if your vase is from that time slot. The style was very popular.

Thankyou for the info, it does have wear to the base that suggests the age anyway it cost me 5 pounds (GBP) in a sale, quite a big piece of glass for the money.   Thanks again.

if the style was popular does that mean there are alot of these vases around?? trying to research but all i find is black and gold vases and fish, ducks etc.
