Amethyst Bowl with base mark Rpe 80 A1?
« on: July 22, 2010, 04:27:38 PM »
my 1st thought was maybe whitefriars but i am not that good with glass yet, and having never seen a piece with a mark leads me to think its not, but im sure the experts on the GMB will be able to point me in the right direction.
thanks Robert.

I think it's ok in Glass for a while now it's bumped.  ;)  Give it a couple of weeks, bump it again and someone will move it for you.  It looks like a studio glass piece probably made in 1980.  RPE will be your designer or initials of the studio (sorry if I'm stating the obvious to you!  :-[

Some ID's take hours, some take days, some take months and occasionally....we don't get an ID.  With your RPE though, I should think you stand a good chance.  :)

Glass is the right place for items of unknown origin. If we can pin it to a Scandi maker we'll move it over for you then.
