Might be Opaline Florence?  Italian but not Murano.  Just a guess though.

Thanks wayne, in the past i have used ebay as reference (big mistake) as it seems that a good portion of sellers put any name to their pieces in the hope that it sells for more money i guess, but now i have recently found this GMB and there is so much to learn, but with all the experts here giving so much valuble knowledge i think this time i might actually start to learn about glass, I have so much glass but with very little knowledge, hopefully in time the GMB will put me right. Many thanks Robert.

I know what you mean Robert, I've made the mistake of "researching" via a quick ebay search too many times in the past, and I'm sorry to say I've probably contributed to the problem with some of my ebay listings as a result.  I'm doing my best to make up for it now though, with what I have learned thanks mainly to GMB, and a LOT of glass books lol.
