possible Scandinavian vase.

having taken the plunge and ordered both the Pina books plus Bill Geary's volume, Amazon tell me I shall get them probably sometime in September :thud: - thats what you get for being a cheapskate on the postage.  So, until my books arrive..........This doesn't have quite the right 'olive' for Riihimaki I don't think, and I have trawled around some of the Scandi sites, but can't see this shape anywhere - so it might be more recent, except that it does have a fair amount of base wear.   The shape does give a passing nod to the tall thin pieces designed by Nanny Still.   370mm tall.   The top is not ground/polished/bevelled, so am I correct in saying cut off with shears and then fire polished?    Oh, and it is green with a clear base. :)   Makes you think of a shell case for some piece of heavy ordnance.   thanks for looking.
