I learned since the time of this post that the old VM numbers and the newer Promovetro VAM numbers are not the same. The bowl is probably not Colleoni. It doesn't look like anything that is made there.

I bet you're surprised to see your bowl again.  :fr:

Actually only sold it a couple of weeks back....been on ebay and a half a dozen antiques fairs, sat on the other halfs mothers table for a year or two, eventually got rid of the damn thing and now it comes back to haunt me!!!










Pleased it's found an appreciative home and audience at last.

Well that damn thing as you put it is a high quality piece of Murano glass which now has a makers name and likely rare and valuable  ;D ;D

Seriously it is a really nice piece and I was surprised it wasn't snapped up 1st time out. As the old saying goes "something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it" we just kept discounting until it found that someone willing to pay something. I hope it treats you more kindly.

Funny thing is we've had a signed Marcello Furlan piece before complete with VM label (photos on old computer) so "you live and learn" is clearly nonsense!
