Hi all
I picked this little weight up thinking it was a strathearn, but after doing a bit of digging i am now not sure, see basal features on KevH's site http://www.btinternet.com/~kevh.glass/pages/vas-strath/vas-strath.htm
So is this a Yasart bros weight?
The weight is 43mm in diameter and weighs just 80g
many thanks
michelle

Hi Michelle.

Not Strathearn, not Vasart - but an early Perthshire PP3 made no later than 1973, as it has a fire polished base.

(not advertising i promise :-[) this little weight has me rather flabbergausted at the moment, it is currently for sale with a few hours left and has had 1039 page views ???? i dont think ive ever had anywhere near this many page views on any of my items before, even my Clichy weight only got to around 600 views, its also got 30 watchers ??
Anybody have any idea whay the attention? Is it just Perthshire at the moment as the other one i have on has also had quite a few page views
cheers
michelle

I wonder if it's because it's not so obviously Scottish from the small pic and people are wondering whether it's perhaps old English or something more interesting.

(PS You'll have to change that mention of pet-free, unless Maisie lives outside.)

Just changed all the ones i can and all future adverts to be amended (must write a post it and stick it to the comp as im bound to forget  :-[ my memory is shameful for my age quite worrying at times).
The large PP1 Has also had 338 views in 2.5 days which is around what the little one had at that time too. Maybe just because i have a few other PW on and drawing more attention aswell ??
cheers
